These terms cover your use of technologymom.com and anything you buy or download from us. Tech Mom is a brand of Kelly Ashling LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Tallahassee, Florida ("Tech Mom," "we," "us"). By using the site or buying a product, you agree to these terms.
We sell downloadable eBooks, guides, checklists and bundles (PDF files) about kids, technology and online safety. We also offer free resources, such as our First Phone Checklist, in exchange for your email address.
Our guides are practical education for parents. They are not legal, medical, mental-health, or law-enforcement advice, and they don't replace a professional who knows your family. Apps, settings and platform rules change often, so steps in a guide may look different on your child's device. You decide what's right for your family and are responsible for how you use the information.
If a child is in danger, call 911. To report online sexual exploitation of a child, contact the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678. If your child is in a mental-health crisis, call or text 988.
Prices are in U.S. dollars and are shown at checkout, along with any sales tax that applies. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your full card number. Bundle and upgrade prices are only available as shown at checkout.
After payment, we email download links to the address you used at checkout. If your email hasn't arrived within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then email us at [email protected] and we'll resend it.
Because our products are digital downloads you receive right away, all sales are final and we don't offer refunds. We'll always make it right in these cases:
Email [email protected] with your order email and what went wrong. Nothing in this section limits any rights you have under applicable law.
When you buy a guide, you get a personal, non-transferable license to read, save and print it for your own household. Please don't resell, share, post, upload or distribute our paid guides, or use them in a class, business or paid service, without our written permission. Free resources marked "free to share" may be shared as long as you credit Tech Mom. All content on this site, including text, guides, graphics and the Tech Mom name and logo, belongs to Kelly Ashling LLC.
When you request a free resource or make a purchase, we'll email you what you asked for, and we may send follow-up emails with tips and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Order and delivery emails are sent even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
Our guides and site mention and link to apps, platforms and websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, settings, or privacy practices.
The site and our products are provided "as is." We work hard to keep our guides accurate and current, but we don't guarantee that they're error-free, complete, or that following them will prevent every problem. To the fullest extent the law allows, Kelly Ashling LLC won't be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Leon County, Florida.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do. The version in effect when you make a purchase applies to that purchase.
