We teach parents to protect their family's information, so we take yours seriously. This policy explains what technologymom.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. Tech Mom is a brand of Kelly Ashling LLC, Tallahassee, Florida ("Tech Mom," "we," "us").

What we collect

What you give us: your email address when you request a free resource, and your name, email, billing details and order information when you buy. If you email us, we keep that conversation.
Payment details: handled by Stripe or PayPal. We don't see or store your full card number.
Basic site data: like most websites, our site records technical information such as your browser, device type, pages visited, and IP address. Our website platform uses a first-party cookie to recognize returning visitors, and we use Cloudflare's privacy-focused web analytics to count visits.

How we use it

To deliver what you asked for: free resources, purchases and download links
To send receipts and order emails
To send tips and offers by email, which you can stop anytime
To answer your questions and help with orders
To keep the site working, secure, and improving

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

Our website, email and customer-management platform (HighLevel, provided through Content Creator Machine), which also sends our emails
Stripe and PayPal, to process payments
Cloudflare, for website security and visit counts

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or others from harm.

At the time of this update, we don't use advertising or retargeting pixels on this site. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.

Your choices

Stop marketing emails: click "unsubscribe" in any email. We'll still send order and delivery emails for purchases.
See, correct or delete your information: email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. We may keep order records we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.

Children's privacy

Our site and products are for parents and other adults. They aren't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're on our email list or while we need it for your orders, and as long as required for tax, accounting or legal reasons. After that, we delete it.

Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and limited access to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take it seriously and will tell you if a problem affects your data.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. For significant changes, we'll let our email list know.
